Hare Krishna. Mokshada Ekadashi marks the day when Lord Krishna spoke the Bhagavad Gita to Arjuna in the battlefield of Kurushetra. This day is also called Gita Jayanti. Mokshada Ekadashi falls on 30 November this year. Every year during the period of Gita Jayanti, ISKCON runs the Bhagavad Gita Book Marathon. This year the book marathon will run from 15 November to 15 December. This is an auspicious time to buy, gift and donate the Bhagavad Gita as well as other books such as Shrimad Bhagavatam, the Krsna book or a small book.
